Julie Yamamura
Julie joined OEP as a Policy Associate in April 2024. She leads policy and stakeholder research on key markets and supports the delivery of global programmes and projects including OEP’s Publications on Offshore Wind Energy Research (POWER) Library project.
Julie has a professional background in government relations, public policy, and advocacy. Before joining OEP, Julie worked as a Campaigner at Change.org, where she collaborated with civil society groups and activists to deliver impactful petition campaigns advocating justice for socially marginalised communities. She also previously worked as a government relations and public policy consultant at GR Japan, where she conducted policy analysis and provided strategic stakeholder engagement and advocacy advice to private sector clients.
Julie is based in the UK. Outside of work, she enjoys photography walks and is also currently attempting to pick up bouldering and the piano again.
