Tom Rivett-Carnac is a Founding Partner at Global Optimism, a mission driven enterprise he established with Christiana Figueres in 2016. From that position he has served as a co-founder of the Climate Pledge and TED Countdown and is a Senior Advisor at the Bezos Earth Fund. He is also a co-host of the award winning podcast Outrage and Optimism and an author of the bestselling book The Future We Choose. From 2013-2016 he was Senior Advisor to the Executive Secretary at the UN Climate Convention.
He is on the advisory boards of Netflix and Watershed, is a Trustee of Client Earth and holds an honorary PhD from Knox College. He was made OBE by Queen Elizabeth in 2022.
