Omar Andrade
Omar is a Project Associate at Ocean Energy Pathway, supporting strategic projects and partnerships in Japan.
Based in Tokyo since 2018, Omar has a background in project development for both onshore and offshore wind. He has experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, from local communities to government authorities. Before joining OEP, he spent over four years at wpd Japan as a Project Coordinator, focusing primarily on onshore wind projects. Prior to that, he worked at the offshore monopile manufacturer Sif’s Japan representative office.
Omar holds a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Studies from Sophia University. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, learning languages, and traveling.
