Marianella Bolivar Carbonell
Marianella is a Research Associate at OEP. She leads Colombia’s country strategy, manages projects, and engages with governmental stakeholders. She also supports Latin American initiatives through research, translation, and stakeholder engagement.
Marianella has a background in academia, research, and consultancy, with a focus on water resources and offshore renewable energy. Before joining OEP, she worked on the design of marine and coastal structures, hydrodynamic modelling, and assessing offshore wind farm locations in tropical regions like Colombia and Costa Rica, as well as a Lecturer in academia. She has provided technical recommendations on infrastructure and supply chain aspects of renewable energy projects.
Marianella is based in the UK. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, making cross stitch and looking for new places to know.
