Linda Mabhena-Olagunju is a seasoned renewable energy developer, an award-winning CEO, and internationally experienced Board executive with over 17 years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, and project finance. At 27 she founded her company DLO Energy Resources Group (Pty) Ltd a wholly black female owned renewable energy company which currently owns and operates one of the largest wind farms in Africa at a capacity of 244MW.
Over and above her roles in the energy sector Linda is an experienced board executive that has served on boards across various sectors including energy, aviation, infrastructure, DFIs and education. Her wealth of boardroom experience ranges from both local and international boards. She has previously served the boards of the University of Oxford, Swiss Port, City Power, Zayed Sustainability Awards and Energy for Access.
Linda is an admitted attorney of the high court of South Africa with an extensive background practising in project finance. She holds an LLB from the University of Cape Town (Dean’s Merit List) and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Aberdeen (First Class).
