Julia Paletta is the Country Head for Brazil at OEP, where she leads the organisation’s strategic engagement, project management, and government relations.

With over 18 years of experience in the energy sector, Julia has held executive roles in major companies and led large infrastructure EPC projects across Brazil and overseas. She also served as a senior researcher and Deputy Director at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), focusing on climate and energy policy. Julia is currently pursuing a PhD in Energy Planning at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with research centred on the energy transition, stranded assets, and climate change. She is the author of several scientific studies in these fields and brings a strong interest in geopolitics to her work. 

Outside the office, Julia is passionate about Brazilian art, music, and culture, enjoys yoga, cycling, adventure travel, and exploring Chinese history.
