Eunbyeol is a Project Associate at Ocean Energy Pathway (OEP), supporting strategic projects and partnerships in South Korea.
She plays a key role in shaping policies and accelerating offshore wind deployment through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and policy initiatives. She collaborates with government, industry, and civil society to advance regulatory and market frameworks for offshore wind expansion.
With a background in renewable energy policy, government relations, and advocacy, Eunbyeol has worked to address regulatory challenges and shape policies that accelerate the transition to renewable energy. Before joining OEP, she led renewables permitting, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement at a non-profit climate organization, working with government agencies, legislative bodies, and the media.
She also serves as an advisor to government bodies and industry associations, contributing expertise on offshore wind policy and regulatory frameworks. Passionate about climate advocacy with integrity, she believes effective policies and governance are key to a just transition. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling and reading philosophy books.

해상풍력 보급 확대와 넷제로(Net Zero) 전환을 가속화하기 위해 정책 기획, 이해관계자 협력, 주요 프로그램 운영을 지원하며, 정부, 산업, 시민사회와 긴밀히 협력하고 있습니다
재생에너지 정책, 정부 관계, 공공정책 및 옹호(advocacy) 분야에서 다양한 경험을 쌓아왔으며, OEP에 합류하기 전에는 비영리 기후 단체에서 재생에너지 인허가, 정책 옹호, 이해관계자 협력을 주도하며, 정부 기관, 국회, 언론, 시민사회와 협력해 정책 변화를 만들어 왔습니다.
이와 함께 정부 및 산업 협회의 자문위원으로도 활동하며, 해상풍력 정책과 규제 체계 개선을 위한 전문적인 의견을 제공하고 있습니다. 기후 정의와 투명한 정책 수립의 중요성을 깊이 믿으며, 공정한 에너지 전환을 위해 정책과 거버넌스의 역할이 필수적이라고 생각합니다.
업무 외에는 자전거 타기와 철학책 읽기를 즐기며, 지속 가능성과 사회 변화에 대한 새로운 시각을 탐구하는 시간을 갖고 있습니다.
