Adam Bruce
Adam sits on OEP’s Board of Directors.
Adam is currently Senior Fellow at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), helping to represent all aspects of the renewable energy sector to governments and other partners. He also sits on the board of Crown Estate Scotland. He has over twenty years of experience in executive and non-executive roles in the global clean energy sector, with a focus on development, political and regulatory risk management, external engagement, and thought leadership.
Previously, he was the Global Head of Corporate Affairs at Mainstream Renewable Power, a leading renewable energy company, and UK CEO of the green energy utility, Airtricity. He has served as Chair of the UK Offshore Wind Programme Board and RenewableUK, and has held various leadership positions in other national and international industry and government bodies including WindEurope and IRENA’s Coalition for Action.
Adam is involved in the cultural heritage sector and served as a Board Trustee at National Museums Scotland from 2017 to 2024. As Marchmont Herald, he is the senior Officer of Arms in Scotland.
