Mohana Priya
Mohana Priya is the Country Head for Ocean Energy Pathway in India. She spearheads Ocean Energy Pathway’s mission in India by supporting key policy makers and government institutions in building their capacity to accelerate offshore wind development in the country through high quality technical assistance and strategic support.
With a career spanning over a decade, Mohana has worked in diverse settings ranging from Consulting, Policy Advocacy, Infrastructure Development, Renewables and Nature Based Solutions. Her interests lie in the interface of business, nature and society and she has guided and championed social performance of several businesses throughout her career.
Prior to joining Ocean Energy Pathway Mohana was a Social Performance Advisor for Shell India where she managed social risks for its assets in India. Before joining Shell, Mohana worked with Sterlite Power where she influenced sustainable development of power transmission projects and played an instrumental role in building a narrative for social license to operate.
Mohana holds a bachelors degree from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and a Master of Business Administration from Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
